Starting July 1, 2026, anime enthusiasts traveling from Kyoto to the beloved “NARUTO&BORUTO Shinobi-Zato” attraction on Awaji Island will benefit from a new direct bus ticket package. This offering combines a round-trip highway bus service between Kyoto Station and Awaji I.C. with admission to the popular anime-themed park, aiming to simplify the travel experience for both domestic and international visitors by eliminating the need for transfers.
The highway bus journey from Kyoto to Awaji Island takes approximately 90 minutes, providing travelers with scenic views of bridges and the sea before reaching the anime park. Once there, visitors can enjoy two main attractions: the three-dimensional maze known as “Heaven’s Scroll (Ten no Maki)” and the interactive “Earth Scroll (Chi no Maki)” mission rally. The direct bus package will be available on weekdays, excluding major holiday periods, with adult tickets priced at 8,200 yen and children’s tickets at 4,250 yen, including taxes. Tickets can be purchased online and must be exchanged at the Kyoto Bus Ticket Center.
